A picture really IS worth a thousand words!

Wow. Just yesterday Sara and I were playing on the deck in short sleeves. It made it up to 70 degrees. Today, on the other hand, is a different story. It’s 28 degrees, windy and snowing. Ack! Make it stop!
Whoooohooooo!! My sister Sally is getting married! Mike and Sally got engaged over the weekend and we’re all very very happy for them. Mike is a wonderful guy and will be a great addition to the family.
Sara turned 3 today! What a great birthday she’s had. Right now she is fast asleep, worn out from the days festivities. Happy Birthday Sweet Sara!!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday dear Scot-ty
Happy Birthday to YOU!!
(Tell Eric he’s taking you out to lunch today!)
Guess I’ve been a complete slacker and haven’t updated in a loooooong time! Let’s see, we’ve been dealing with yucky weekends filled with snow and ice. They say this weekend will be nice and in the 50′s but I will believe it when I see it. These meterologists are jokes. Heck, I could do a better job!
Sara is going to be 3 very very soon! Time is a flyin’! We’re hoping my parents and sisters and aunt & uncle can come up to celebrate with us. Eric has been working hard, oh wait…maybe it’s hardly working? I’ve been busy with Creative Memories and Sara and I just enrolled in a KinderMusik class. Should be fun! I think we’ll sign her up for a 3-year old soccer program too. How cute is that gonna be! I love watching the little ones swarm around the ball! Too cute!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTERS!! Beth is celebrating today, Feb 4th and Sally tomorrow, Feb 5th.
Imagine our surprise when we awoke on Sunday (the 26th) to see it snowing! It had started around 6:30am and didn’t stop until almost 4pm. THIRTEEN INCHES!! Totally unexpected – the weather forecasters were WAY wrong on this one. They kept saying we were going to get anywhere from a dusting to 3 inches. HA! Wrong! Driving home from the Hampton/Norfolk area yesterday was horrible. What is normally a 3 1/2 hour trip turned into 5. Heard on the news that the VA State Police had to deal with over 70 accidents on I-64 on Sunday. Yikes!
